Week 2 Reflection

The second week of Physics was still fun! However, there was more work involved.

On Monday, we started the wood block lab. The lad wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. It was hard for me to understand the math portion of it, because i'm not very good at math.

After we were done with the Wood Block lab we went onto The Buggy Lab, which was alot more fun! It was more interactive then the block lab. I understood alot more about we had to do and what the experiment was based off of. For the Buggy lab we had to make observations. We also made a list of things that we could change about the buggy to see if it would change the experiment. If we changed the weight it make the experiment different. But we could not change the speed, the size of the wheels, or change the weight of the of the battery.

When we graphed the points to keep track of the speed we learned that the Y-intercept tells us the starting position.

Physics is still cool after 2 weeks! This will be an enjoyable year!

Week 1 Refelction

I just wanted to start out saying how much I love physics, well so far I like it. I think my teacher is super cool, not to sound dorky or anything. My teacher isn't like any teacher that I have ever had. His approach on teaching is so different, for example, he doesn't believe in homework, which is great!

On the second day we did an activity that consisted of paper, a foot of tape, and a ruler. We had to make a tower of paper that consisted of the items above. My tower was the tallest but it didn't stand straight up, it was on a lean. But it was still the tallest!

My favorite thing about physics is that were allowed to use our IPhones in class. We use various apps like twitter, blogger (obviously), and Google t. We mostly use twitter and we all follow our teacher. We have our own hashtag, it's #TmPhys12! But the time has come that I have to go!

Stay Classy.
