Week 11 Reflection
That week was only three days because of Thanksgiving. But the juniors only had two days of class because on wednesday we took the practice ACT. On Monday, we watched some of the class present their bridges and then there wasn't enough time time for everyone to go. On Tuesday Lisa and I presented our bridge. Our bridge was completely full with weights. But then or bridge started to lean and then the weights kept sliding off. But I still count every weight that I put on that bridge. But Lisa and I did an equal amount of work on the project. We both built the bridge and I did the powerpoint.
Week 10 Reflection
The project consisted of spaghetti noodles, a lot of tape, and glue. We were only allowed two sticks of glue. It looked like we used a lot more then two sticks, but it was only two sticks suprisingly.
On our bridge we used triangles because it offered more support. The triangles were going up and down to support more weight. The triangles on our bridge were the tuss'. A truss brdges is a bridge composed of connected elements which may be stressed from tension or compression.
Week 9 Reflection
Examples of action-reaction pairs:
1) "Walking- when we take a step we press our foot on the ground, pushing backwards. Because of friction we exert a backward on the ground. The reaction force is the equal and opposite."

2) The baseball pushes the glove leftward. Then the glove pushes the baseball rightward.
Later that week we talked about our assessments. I didn't do so well because I really didn't understand the concept. But now that I looked this information up I sort of understand the concept. The thing about the assessments are that the questions are worded weird so that kinda threw me off. One thing I wish we went over more was the conversion. I still don't know how to convert kg to newons.
