Week 4 Reflection

I'm going to be frank I do not like how were graded and how we will actually find out what our grade is at the end of the quarter. Maybe it's just me but I like to know what my grade is throughout the quarter. What if your failing the class but you wouldn't know until the quarters over. I am very concious about my grades and if there even below a B then I print out what it is that I have to do or re do and I do it. How would we know if were failing? I know you want us to succeed but I have to know what it is that I have to do in order to do that.

I can't believe that i'm about to say this but I wish we got more notes so that I can understand more about what's avtually going on in class. I'm use to getting a bunch of paper for assessments, notes, and homework. I use these papers later on to study for a quiz or a test. I would really like it if you gave use more note sheets explaining what's going on.

I really like how hands on physics is. I tend to learn better that way. But lately I just feel like i'm a lost puppy in the class, eventhough I praticipate a lot. I just need a better understanding about what physics is about and what it consists of.

I hope this doesn't come off that I don't like the class but I just need to learn more about whats going on in the class. I realy like physics but i'm just having a tough time.

  1. We don't want any members of #TeamPhysics to feel that they are struggling. Although it is different than what you're used to, it doesn't mean you can't adapt. Just like you'll see in college one day, every class has its challenges and differences that students will have to adapt to. You can do it! It just requires communicating, which you're doing here, but also in person and at a time outside of class where we can focus on you. Let's find a time where we can meet, or if you have a classmate/friend who also has questions or is looking for better strategies, they can come too. You'll get there, it's just taking some time.
